  • 15-100 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Supervisor in Fredericksburg (full-time): Provides direct intensive therapeutic interventions and case management services in the office, home or field to adolescents referred by the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court. Position also supervises the recruitment, training and work of assigned Drug Treatment Court Therapists. Thorough knowledge of: Diagnosis and treatment of the mentally ill/emotionally disabled and substance abusing populations including a mixture of treatment modalities pertaining to children/adolescents; Principles of child/adolescent psychology, physical and intellectual development; Principles of substance abuse treatment and family and group dynamics; Individual management guidelines for VA. Must have strong communication skills , experience with adolescents and families with SA/MA, program development skills, and experience proving supervision to staff.  Master's Degree in a behavioral science with considerable professional experience in direct therapy to the child and adolescent population or equivalent education/experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  CSAC certified, LCSW or LPC license or license eligible.  Valid Virginia Driver’s License.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, with two (2) nights per week minimum.   • 15-96 Clinic Coordinator in Stafford County(full-time): Responsible for program planning and development of an Outpatient Clinic for intellectually disabled, substance abused, and/or seriously emotionally disturbed individuals.  Experience in providing supervision of an outpatient mental health/substance abuse clinic preferred.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment, work independently, and have strong communication and computer skills.  Extensive clinical work experience in the treatment of the mentally ill or substance abuse. Licensed by the Virginia Board of Health Professions in Psychology, LCSW, LPC required. Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Annual salary $60,060 + benefits.

  • 15-95 Psychologist at Stafford County Clinic (full-time): Conducts psychological evaluations and forensic assessments; expert testimony.  Provides direct therapeutic services to individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disabilities. Treatment services include individual, family and group therapy. Experience in providing outpatient mental health and substance abuse services to adults; experienced in assessments.  Must have strong communication and computer skills, and be a motivated, self-starter. PsyD or PhD licensed clinical psychologist (III); licensed by the Virginia Board of Psychology. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License.  Unlicensed annual salary $54,730 + benefits.   • 15-78 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Therapist in Fredericksburg (full-time): This position provides direct therapeutic treatment and educational services to substance abusive individuals less than eighteen years of age and their families or children of substance abusing parents.   • 15-50 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Mentor (part-time): This position provides mentoring services to participants in the Rappahannock Regional Juvenile Drug Treatment Court as a means of supporting treatment for recovery of substance abuse. The service is intended to provide participants with socialization experiences, tutoring, transportation and monitoring as a means of promoting abstinence from alcohol and drugs and involvement in activities inconsistent with criminal behavior. Experienced with adolescents; must work independently; must communicate effectively. High School Diploma, with a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science preferred. Valid Virginia Driver’s License. Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends. This position requires 15 hours per week. Hourly rate $13.71.

  • 15-23 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (full-time): Performs medical, diagnostic and treatment services for the agency's individuals served population in collaboration with agency psychiatrists. Has thorough knowledge of the principles, standards, practices and techniques related to psychiatry and nursing. Has thorough knowledge of the characteristics and precautions to be taken in the administration of psychotropic medication. Has thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques related to individual therapy and counseling practices for individuals with mental illness. Is able to accurately maintain patient medical records and prepare reports in compliance with licensure regulations. Is able to establish and maintain effective relationships with individuals served, physicians, subordinates and others contacted in the course of work. Master’s degree in nursing and certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Current DEA registration. Demonstrated past experience in community mental health with chronically mentally ill preferred. Licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the area of psychiatry; experience in an outpatient mental heals/substance abuse setting; strong computer skills; knowledge of electronic health records. MENTAL HEALTH RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

  • 15-97 Mental Health Residential Counselor II at the Crisis Stabilization (full-time): Supervises and provides direct services to long-term mentally ill adults in an established state of the art, Crisis Stabilization program.  Good knowledge of supportive level counseling, service plan development and social casework practices.  The position involves overnight, weekend and shift work.  BA/BS degree in related field, plus 1 year experience in delivering direct services to persons with long-term mental illness, gerontology or special education clients or registered by PRA as required by Medicaid regulations.  Valid Virginia Driver’s license.  This position is located in the City of Fredericksburg.  Annual salary $34,372 + benefits.

  • 15-83 Mental Health Residential Specialist (full-time): Provide residential services to the Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) population of this area training them to live independently in the community. This position involves overnight, weekend, and shift work. Residential Services include but are not limited to: locating housing, teaching independent living skills, coordinating recreational, social, and leisure programs, providing supportive counseling, providing crisis intervention, developing service plans, advocating on the behalf of individuals, providing budget skills support, providing medication skills and medical appointment support, providing transportation, assessing potential individuals, providing documentation, teaching safety precautions, and conducting substance abuse training. Approved “Qualified Mental Health Professional” (QMHP). This means a clinician in the health professions who is trained and experienced in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a psychiatric diagnosis; including a (i) physician: a doctor of medicine or osteopathy; (ii) psychiatrist: a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, specializing in psychiatry and licensed in VA; (iii) psychologist: an individual with a Master’s Degree in psychology from a college or university with at least one year of clinical experience; (iv) social worker:  an individual with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with a least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to persons with a diagnosis of mental illness; (v) Registered Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (RPRP) registered with the International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (IAPSRS); (vi) registered nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of VA with at least one year of clinical experience; of (vii) any other licensed mental health professional.   • 15-88 Intellectual Disabilities Support Coordinator in Fredericksburg (full-time): This position is responsible for providing case management services to intellectually disabled individuals, which includes:  outreach, assessment, service linkage, and monitoring and advocacy functions.  Traditional and non-traditional counseling; direct care and supportive services are critical.  The successful candidate will possess knowledge of:  interviewing and supportive counseling techniques; social casework techniques; the definition, causes and program philosophy of intellectual disabilities; the different types of assessments and their uses in program planning; individual’s rights; local service delivery systems, including support services; the types of intellectually disabled programs and services; effective oral, written and interpersonal communication principles and techniques; general principles of record documentation; the service planning process and the major components of a service plan. Skill in: negotiating with individuals and service providers; in observing, recording and reporting behaviors; identifying and documenting service needs; coordinating the provision  of services by diverse public and private providers; analyzing and planning for the service needs of intellectual disabled persons. Ability to identify an individual’s needs for resources, services and other assistance; identify services within the established service system to meet the individual’s needs; communicate with different people in different ways; demonstrate a positive regard for individuals and  their families (i.e., treating individuals as individuals, allowing risk taking, avoiding stereotypes of intellectually disabled people, respecting individuals’ and families’ privacy, believing individuals can grow); articulate effectively, verbally and in writing/  Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field and one year of experience with adults with intellectual disabilities. Good knowledge of vocational rehabilitative programs and instruction techniques in the work setting assigned.  Knowledge of the behavioral needs associated with persons with intellectual disabilities.  Skill in establishing on going rapport and communication with non-verbal participants. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

  • 14-220 Van Driver - Substitute (part-time): Provides safe and timely transportation for individuals with various physical and/or mental disabilities to and from their residences to various developmental programs provided by the Agency. The successful candidate will possess: thorough knowledge of the operating and safety practices and techniques related to driving a passenger vehicle; thorough knowledge of state and local laws governing vehicular movement on public thoroughfares; good knowledge of routine preventive maintenance practices and common mechanical failures related to the vehicle operated; good knowledge of the regional geography and major road systems; good knowledge of emergency first aid and CPR techniques; good skill in the operation of a motor vehicle; some knowledge of the common behavior of the population of individuals served by RACSB; good physical condition required to provide assistance to individuals entering and exiting the vehicles; ability to handle crisis situations and relate well with individuals served, their families and agency staff. The successful candidate must be able to work a split shift A.M./P.M., Monday through Friday.
