Substance Abuse Outpatient & Case Management

RACSB Therapists and Case Managers provide the following:

  • Evaluation of problems associated with alcohol and other drugs;
  • Intensive outpatient, psycho-education, and weekly treatment groups;
  • Specialized individual and group therapy services for women;
  • Priority services for pregnant and parenting women impacted by substance use disorder;
  • Linkage to community resources;
  • Placements to residential treatment and coordination of services,
    especially with criminal justice and social service agencies.

RACSB provides specialized services to women whose lives are affected by drugs and alcohol. Services include:

  • Intensive Outpatient Treatment serves as an intensive alternative to residential or inpatient treatment programs. RACSB works from a holistic model, addressing a variety of topics such as stress management, assertiveness, nutrition, parenting, relapse prevention etc.
  • Weekly groups offer a less intensive group counseling experience. The groups focus on recovery issues such as leisure planning, social support, women’s issues, and relapse prevention.
  • Anger Management Group provides counseling to women on anger issues. The groups are usually offered to help individuals fulfill court requirements.
  • Individual Therapy will be offered on a limited basis to women who need additional supportive counseling.
  • Family and couples counseling are offered to women enrolled in RACSB specialized substance abuse services who feel that this service will promote their continued recovery.
  • Evidenced-based, structured parenting workshops for pregnant and parenting women impacted with substance abuse disorder.
